Among them is Jimmy, a bear whose life has unfolded entirely within the sanctuary. Now 21 years old, he arrived as a cub and never developed the survival instincts needed for life in the wild. Because of this, he remained under the center’s care, where he has grown into a calm and trusting presence. His personality stands out—gentle, steady, and deeply familiar with the people who raised him.
