Which one looks most like you: A, B, C or D?

Sleeping well isn’t just about how long you sleep, but also how you position your body throughout the night. The way you sleep can affect your spine, breathing, digestion, and how refreshed you feel in the morning.During sleep, your body is recovering. Muscles relax, joints reset, and the brain processes the day. If your neck or spine stays in an awkward position for hours, it can lead to stiffness, discomfort, or fatigue when you wake up.

Many experts recommend sleeping on your side as one of the healthiest positions. It can help keep your airways open, reduce snoring, and support better spinal alignment, which often leads to more comfortable sleep.Sleeping on the left side may offer extra benefits for some people, especially those dealing with acid reflux or digestion issues. However, using a proper pillow is important to keep your neck aligned and avoid strain.

Sleeping on your back is also considered a good option. It allows even weight distribution and helps maintain a neutral spine. Placing a pillow under your knees can further support your lower back. However, back sleeping may not suit everyone. It can worsen snoring or breathing problems in some cases, making it less ideal for people with certain sleep conditions.

Stomach sleeping is generally the least recommended position. It can strain the neck, put pressure on the lower back, and make it harder to maintain proper alignment during the night. In the end, the best sleeping position is the one that keeps your body supported, your breathing comfortable, and helps you wake up without pain—leading to consistent, restful sleep.
